Living Buildings for All: Genius, Courage, and Tools for Creating Living Affordable Housing
TRACK: Case Studies

In this session, you will learn about the latest successes, obstacles, and lessons learned from ILFI’s cohort of Living Affordable Housing pilot projects.  Stories from the field will be presented by various project team members. You will also learn about the new tools and resources being created out of these efforts for healthy materials selection, energy efficiency and renewable energy production, water reuse, financing sustainable systems, and more. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their own stories and to work together to identify other challenges and opportunities to creating Living Affordable Housing. Healthy, safe, community enhancing, environmentally sound, and beautiful housing for all is within reach.
