Means and Methods to an End: Three Materials Petal Case Studies

TRACK: Materials Health

A review and discussion of three Materials Petal projects that have recently completed the Living Building Challenge audit process. Project teams’ representatives will discuss their challenges, successes and lessons learned with regard to materials research, transparency, and health, as well as how working with LBC impacted the design, construction methods, schedule, and budget of their projects. Come hear how the Summit Foundation’s tenant improvement in D.C, Etsy’s Headquarters in Brooklyn, and the Cincinnati Zoo have pushed their organizations’ missions through these inspiring projects.
