Book Launch and Signing: "Brock Environmental Center for a Living Chesapeake"
Join author Juliet Grable, principal architect Greg Mella, and owner representative Mary Tod Winchester in celebrating the launch of Ecotone's newest release: Brock Environmental Center for a Living Chesapeake: Building a Sustainable Legacy for the Bay

The newest addition to the Living Building Challenge Series chronicles the important story of the design, construction, and operation of the Brock Environmental Center, which has earned full Living Building Challenge Certification. Located on the vibrant yet ecologically-sensitive Chesapeake Bay watershed, the Brock Center serves as the headquarters for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to the health and preservation of the national treasure that is the Bay. Resilient and restorative, the Brock Center serves as a vital resource for hands-on learning and an ongoing demonstration of how the built environment can work to compliment and restore natural ecosystems.

Brock Environmental Center for a Living Chesapeake is illustrated with beautiful photographs and professional diagrams, and infused with the many voices who contributed to the project, serving as an invaluable guidebook of lessons for other brave souls who aspire to create remarkable Living Buildings.
